Introduction to this week's module:

Rates are once again at the start of Module 08, but Module 08 expands understanding of rates to include percents, rates, ratios, and fractions and decimals in usage for different purposes.  A great deal of emphasis is placed on moving between rates, ratios, and percents and understanding their differences.  Module 08 homework is listed below at the end of the readings.  You are also encouraged to do practice problems in the readings.  The practice problems include solutions and explanations in the readings.

To meet the learning outcomes in this module, students are expected to complete the following:
